Super Simple Cheese Danish

Looking for a home made dessert on the fly?  Try this out:
16 ozs. cream cheese, softened
1−1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raspberry jam
2 packages of refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 ozs. sliced almonds

Buttermilk Waffles with Fresh Raspberry Sauce

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
3 eggs
6 tablespoons butter, melted
